This policy explains what information ByteMuni collects, why we collect it and what choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

Reading articles

You can read everything on ByteMuni without creating an account. We use Google Analytics to understand which articles are useful and how visitors find us. Analytics may set cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.

Newsletter subscriptions

If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address so we can send you new articles. You can ask us to remove your address at any time.

Contact form

When you send us a message, we store your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not use these details for marketing and do not sell them.

Storage in your browser

The site saves a few small preferences in your browser's local storage, such as your light or dark theme choice, whether you closed a notice and your recent searches. These stay on your device and are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Sharing your data

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with services that help run the site, such as hosting and analytics providers, or when required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, such as a subscription or a contact message. Email contact@bytemuni.com and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page.
